Following the inagural meeting of the Thunderbird Angel Network, due diligence was performed on a presenting company and two investors elected to participate in the funding of the company! In January member investors will hear from Dr. Gary Gibbons on Valuation and listen to presentations from companies in the pharma and education arenas. The Thunderbird Angel Network was born from the vision of people associated with the Walker Center for Global Entrepreneurship to develop a robust network of investors and entrepreneurs among Thunderbird’s network of alumni, students and friends. The organization serves as a forum for its members, who choose to invest individually from their personal funds. It will also offer educational opportunities to its members from national and local experts on topics related to investment and entrepreneurship.
Parties interested in joining the network or participating in the dinner meeting need to reserve a space online at http://www.thunderbirdangelnetwork.org/ or the Network can be contacted at thunderbirdangelnetwork@gmail.com.
